The short version: come by Metro, travel light, bring a photo ID if you plan to drink, and leave the picnic blanket at home — the lawn is standing room this year. The long version is below.
Everything you need for the day, in one place.
- When — Saturday, September 12, 2026. Gates open 2:00 PM, music until 8:30 PM. The set times go out the week of the show.
- Where — Los Angeles State Historic Park — the corner by Cargo Snack Shack on N Spring Street. The map is on the home page.
- Ages — All ages welcome. You need a valid government photo ID, and to be 21 or over, to be served at the bar.
- Weather — Rain or shine — the event goes ahead as scheduled.
- Re-entry — Single entry. Once you leave the site you cannot come back in the same day, so do the things you need to do before you come through the gate.
- Refunds — All ticket sales are final — no refunds or exchanges.
Point your navigation at the park.
- Metro — the easy one — The A Line to Chinatown Station puts you about two minutes’ walk from the park. On a Saturday it will beat driving, and it beats parking by more.
- Rideshare — Drop-off and pick-up are on N Spring Street at the park entrance, between College and Alpine. Set the destination to the park, not to us.
- Driving and parking — Nobody publishes a street address for the lot — the park does not, and the two addresses floating around online disagree with each other. So navigate to the park itself, 1245 N Spring St. The lot runs alongside the park off N Spring Street and you will see it as you come in. Spaces are limited and we sell them with the tickets: add parking to your order at checkout.
- Accessible parking — Free, first-come, for vehicles showing a state-issued disabled placard or plate. If you need us to hold something, write to us before the day and we will.
At the gate.
- At the gate — Everyone is searched on the way in — bags opened and looked through, and a quick pat-down. A small bag gets you through faster than a big one.
- Bags — One clear bag up to 12″ x 12″ x 6″, or one small non-clear bag up to 6″ x 9″. Hydration packs are fine if they are empty when you arrive.
- ID for the bar — Government-issued, unexpired, with your photo and date of birth: a driver’s license, a state ID card or a passport. School IDs, consular IDs, photocopies and expired IDs cannot be accepted at the bar.
- Your ticket — It arrives by email and lives on your phone. Screenshot it before you get on the Metro — signal at the park is not reliable when a few thousand people arrive at once.
Packing.
- What to bring — Your phone with the ticket on it. An empty reusable water bottle, 1.5 litres or under — there is a free water station to fill it. Sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses; the lawn has little shade until evening. A small towel. Earplugs. Prescription medication in its original labelled packaging. A phone or small point-and-shoot camera.
- Leave at home
- Food and drink — Anything brought in from outside, and any alcohol — the bar is licensed. No glass, no cans, no coolers.
- Anything to sit on or shelter under — Chairs, blankets, picnic mats, umbrellas and tents. The lawn is standing room and there is no space to lay anything out.
- Animals — Pets of any kind. Service animals are welcome.
- Weapons and hazards — Weapons of any kind, including pocket knives and pepper spray. Fireworks, drones, laser pointers and air horns.
- Professional recording gear — Cameras with detachable lenses, and any professional audio or video equipment.
- Drugs — Drugs and drug paraphernalia of any kind.
- Paint and promotion — Aerosols, spray paint and markers. Stickers, flyers, and anything you mean to sell, sample or hand out.
Keeping it a good day for everyone.
- Drugs — Zero tolerance. Police work the event, inside the fence and outside it, and narcotics laws are enforced. Please be responsible and make smart choices.
- On the floor — No moshing, no crowd-surfing, no stage-diving. This is a mellow show — please look after the people around you.
- Selling and handing things out — No unauthorised vending, sampling, handbills or giveaways — on site or on the streets around it. Our vendors paid for their pitch.
- Asking someone to leave — Security and event staff may ask anyone putting the day at risk for others to leave, without a refund.
Buying, and what a ticket does not cover.
- Where to buy — Only from our own box office. Buy tickets
- Resale — Tickets bought from a reseller or a scalper may not scan, and if they do not we will not be able to let you in. We cannot refund a ticket we did not sell.
- Refunds and exchanges — All ticket sales are final — no refunds or exchanges — that includes not being able to make it, and it includes the weather.
- Lineup changes — Acts and set times can change. The event going ahead with a changed lineup is not grounds for a refund.
If you need something, ask us early.
- Getting around — The park is flat and the site is accessible throughout. Accessible toilets are on site.
- Service animals — Welcome. Other animals are not.
- Tell us first — If there is something you need, write to info@intheskyproduction.com before the day rather than on it. We can arrange far more with notice than without.
- Lost something — Write to info@intheskyproduction.com and describe it. If it is handed in, we will get it back to you.
